a 6th love language
Physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time, gifts. These 5 love languages seem to be a universal understanding. But what confuses me is where curiosity is. Where is the love language to be curious about another? To want to know and see someone as you want to be known as well?
One cannot expect to truly love another if there is nothing known. For to be known is be loved. To be interested in a person’s soul, to be curious about who they are, to want to know why they are. And to constantly dive more and more about someone with the idea of acceptance in every truth revealed. Isn’t that the most important love language?
I crave for someone to be curious about me. For someone to ask me about my beliefs, what I am, and what made me. Because to be known is to be loved. And no human would like nothing more than to be loved.
